Abstract

The discourse on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the United States is limited and the ability of the Jewish-American establishment to dictate the conversation on Israel is unparalleled. Pro-Israel interests have contributed $101.7 million in donations to federal candidates and party committees since 1990. AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, is considered the second-most powerful lobby in Washington, D.C., beat out only by the NRA.
