Abstract
Field tests were conducted to measure temperature,
velocity, and current direction with depth at
several locations in the cooling water plume of the
Allen S. King power generating plant on Lake St.
Croix. The results of the study compare favorably
with data from laboratory and analytical models
operated under similarity criteria, specifically
geometry and densimetric Froude number similarity.
