Abstract
Description
Financial stress on farms in the United States became severe in 1982 and the number of farm foreclosures by life insurance companies increased dramatically. This report for 1988 updates farm foreclosure and acquisition activities previously described for calendar years 1986 and 1987. For earlier studies, see L8701 and L8802.
