Andrew Simpson will be performing on keyboard, music to a set of three short films that highlight his work with the Library of Congress Archives and his original scores performed for silent films found at the Library of Congress.
Description
Footage from the 1924 World Series won by the Washington Senators with original piano score. Jean Epstein's silent film classic, The Fall of the House of Usher, score by Simpson. Habeas Corpus, directed by James Parrott and Leo McCarey starring comedy duo Laurel and Hardy, a comedic tale of gravediggers working for a mad scientist.
