Description

The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance sponsored a series of public forums with the major party candidates for Minnesota Governor fostering informed and substantive discussion of important matters of public policy. The forums created an opportunity for the candidates to rise above the talking points and fractious back-and-forth of the campaign to address the important policy challenges facing Minnesota and the country. Mr. Horner gave a presentation on education. The presentation was followed by a short discussion between Professor Lawrence R. Jacobs and Mr. Horner, along with Q&A with the audience. The conversation was moderated by Professor Jacobs. Tom Horner is the Independent candidate for the 2010 Minnesota gubernatorial election.
