Abstract

This study was conducted to document changes in perceived benefits & difficulties to implement sustainability practices by a breadth of tourism entities in Minnesota.This was done by creating baseline information & compare attitudes & practices across time.

Description

More than 80% of respondents perceived the following benefits of adopting sustainable practices: improved organizational image, attracting new clientele, improved customer perception, remaining competitive and improved customer prospects.Majority of respondents perceived the initial financial cost and time and energy as difficulties in implementing sustainable practices.
