Abstract

This project was completed as part of the 2013-2014 Resilient Communities Project (rcp.umn.edu) partnership with the City of North St. Paul. Looking to create more resident interest in a public art plan, the City of North St. Paul was hoping to develop a public participation process plan around public art. Project lead Jon Fure collaborated with students in Dr. Carissa Schively Slotterback’s PA 5253: Planning Participation Processes course to develop a participation plan. The students outlined their engagement approach, identified stakeholders, and offered an engagement timeline. This is one of two projects completed on this topic in this course. The final report and poster are available.
