Description
The St. Anthony West Neighborhood Organization (STAWNO) was interested in creating maps and GIS analysis relating to two housing programs administered by the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation. Maps were designed to show where housing dollars were spent in the neighborhood as well as housing values over time. Properties that received housing funds were measured against those not receiving funds, and St. Anthony West property value increases were measured against nearby neighborhoods and Minneapolis as a whole. Results showed home loans were scattered throughout the neighborhood and showed an increase in property values in the neighborhood, although direct correlation to NRP housing programs could not be made.
