Abstract

This project was completed as part of a partnership between Towerside Innovation District and the University of Minnesota’s Resilient Communities Project (http://www.rcp.umn.edu). The goal of this project was to understand opportunities and constraints the Towerside Innovation District faces in redevelopment of the district. Towerside Innovation District project lead Sabina Saksena collaborated with a team of students in Dr. Greg Lindsey's PA 8081: Planning and Public Affairs Capstone to conduct a community survey and perform an economic analysis of development potential in Towerside. A final student report and PowerPoint presentation slides from the project are available, as well as an ArcGIS StoryMap, publicly accessible at https://z.umn.edu/towerside-storymap.
