Abstract

In 2009-10, the E-analytics Working Group of the Cataloging Coordination Group at the University of Minnesota Libraries examined and evaluated a number of issues surrounding the provision of intellectual access for electronic books in series, or "e-analytics." The group's final report identifies categories of monographic and serial online materials in need of analytic cataloging treatment and proposes solutions for providing access to these materials. Discovery and access issues, workflows, and concerns for ongoing stewardship and management are covered in the report.
