Abstract
Weight loss was monitored in six piles of black spruce pulpwood harvested in northern Minnesota. From these data, models were developed to estimate average rate of weight loss and predict how weight loss is affected by prevailing weather. The resulting equations are presented, evaluated, and their use illustrated.
