Abstract

Welcome to Public Health Moment from the University of Minnesota. It’s National Nutrition Month and this year’s theme is “Be 100% fad free.” But what is a fad diet? We asked Mary Story, a University of Minnesota epidemiologist. <clip: What is the alternative? What is considered a healthy diet?<clip: Story adds that the University of Minnesota has added several inter-professional courses for students in medicine, nursing, public health and pharmacy to address those communications issues and improve team health care. With another Public Health Moment, I’m John Finnegan.
