Abstract
In my 3,775-word review essay "James Miller's Intellectual Biography of Michel Foucault, and Walter J. Ong's Thought," I highlight certain points in Miller's book The Passion of Michel Foucault and connect them with relevant points in the mature thought of the American Jesuit Renaissance specialist and cultural historian Walter J. Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955) -- or, occasionally, with relevant works by other authors.
