Description
Over the years, the National Endowment for Financial
Education (NEFE) has partnered with the National
Institute for Food & Agriculture (formerly the
Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension
Service) and the Credit Union National Association
(CUNA) to provide the High School Financial Planning
Program (HSFPP) curriculum to teachers and others
providing financial management education.
Locally, the University of Minnesota Extension and the
Minnesota Credit Union Network have partnered to
offer statewide workshops in spring 2004, fall 2005,
spring 2007 and now again in spring 2010. This
poster describes the June 2010 workshop, Teaching
Financial Education Today: Legislation, Learning
Styles & the HSFPP®, held at 12 locations across the
state.
