Description
The North St. Paul Arts Council needed help with an oral history project to inform the creation of murals to be painted in North St. Paul. North St. Paul is going through a transition. Highway 36, which was built in 1933, divided the town in two. The highway is now being reconstructed, and many residents are concerned about the effect this highway project will have on the town. The new highway offers an opportunity for the community to become structurally unified and for its members to renew their sense of commitment to the town. The murals will be used to create connections across the highway.
