Abstract

This paper aims to explore how different types of programs for English Language Learners affect students and their interactions with faculty during and after completion of the program. Through interviews with ten undergraduate students, this paper provides qualitative data related to how students in ESL pullout and bilingual education programs differ in their ability to form positive, constructive relationships with teachers, advisors, and other professionals throughout their education.
