Description
This is a section of a review that was written by a team I was a part of for my UROP project. The submission includes the section text and relevant figures and references. This section was written by Bretton Ruiter with content and editing assistance from Drs. Tami McDonald and John Ward. In the final draft of the paper, this section is broken up and spread across the other sections, so rather than publish the review here in its entirety, I've elected to submit a draft focused on my work. Much of the work found in this submission survived in the final draft; thus, this work is an accurate representation of my final UROP product. As of this writing, the review is in press. The temporary citation for this work is: McDonald, T. R., Rizvi, M. F., Ruiter, B. L., Roy, R., Reinders, A., and Ward, J. M. (2021) Posttranslational regulation of transporters important for symbiotic interactions. Plant Physiol. (in press).
