Abstract

Records of water resources parametets, which are directly dependent on air temperature can serve as indicators of climate warming over both the long and short-term. Ice-out and ice-in dates on lakes, spring runoff timing and discharge in streams, and stream water temperatures recorded in the State of Milmesota up to 2002 were selected for study. The analysis was conducted by linear regression on all or parts of the record and by extreme event soiling.
