Abstract

Description

Since the completion of the Hiawatha light-rail line in December 2004, a number of changes have taken place in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. To determine the impact of light rail on the community, including both private residents and businesses, the West Bank Community Development Corporation commissioned a survey of riders' use of public transit, as well as businesses and services and their views of the neighborhood in which the Cedar-Riverside station is located. A total of 101 surveys were administered. This report summarizes the results.
