Internationally renowned leadership expert, Ronald Heifetz, will be featured in a conversation about using adaptive leadership techniques to effectively tackle today's public health challenges. Ronald A. Heifetz is the King Hussein bin Talal Senior Lecturer in Public Leadership and the founding director of the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Known for his seminal work during the last two decades on the practice and teaching of leadership, his research focuses on how to build adaptive capacity in societies, businesses, and nonprofits. His book, Leadership Without Easy Answers, is currently in its 13th printing and has been translated into many languages.
Heifetz coauthored the best-selling book, Leadership on the Line: Staying Alive through the Dangers of Leading, with Marty Linsky. His teaching is studied in Leadership Can Be Taught by Sharon Daloz Parks. Cofounder and Principal of Cambridge Leadership Associates, Heifetz consults extensively in the United States and abroad. He is a graduate of Columbia University, Harvard Medical School, and the Kennedy School and is a physician and cellist who studied with the Russian virtuoso Gregor Piatigorsky.
