Abstract

The first presentation in this series features UMD Student Sage Johnson who studied abroad in 2019 at Kanda University of International Studies in Makuhari, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Kanda University is regarded as one of the top universities in Japan for international studies, and has gained a great reputation for its emphasis on learner autonomy. Sage will discuss her personal journey in Japan and the transformative potential of study abroad programs.
