Abstract
This poster session is an illustration of an Extension team that initiated a summer intern
project to advance the research and knowledge of Latinos in SW Minnesota. The team worked with the summer intern to create a culturally appropriate methodology for gathering data for the project. By participating in this poster session you will have an opportunity to: 1) Hear about the objectives and purpose of the program, 2) Understand the methodology and background of the study, 3) Discover the technology used to share and learn during the program, 4) Be exposed to the findings and analysis of the data, and 5) Ask questions about the procedures and nature of the program. This session gives an inside look at what a collaborative Extension team and a summer intern can accomplish to advance Extension scholarship and teaching.
