Abstract

Linda LeGarde Grover's most recent research examines the intersections and parallels of traditional Ojibwe stories with our current life here at the western end of Lake Superior. Written in a collection of essays, stories and poetry, this dibaajimowin of the communities of indigenous and immigrant people begins with the view from the Point of Rocks, the outcropping of gabbro rock at the center of Duluth, and sweeps westward to eastward as well as past to present.
