Abstract

This project was completed as part of a partnership between the City of Little Canada and the University of Minnesota’s Resilient Communities Project (http://www.rcp.umn.edu). The goal of this project was to develop community engagement best practices and tools for the parks master plan. City of Little Canada project leads Bryce Shearen and Corrin Wendell collaborated with graduate and postdoctoral students in the RCP Fellows Program to conduct a literature review of community engagement best practices; create community definitions; and develop a stakeholder analysis, survey and focus group questions, and an evaluation tool. A final report is available.
