Abstract

Teaching and Learning in STEM is a series of stand-alone workshops geared towards faculty from the Swenson College of Science and Engineering. Each session will be presented by STEM faculty and will focus on pedagogy and research in the disciplines. All faculty are welcome to attend. Succeeding with Online Science Courses focuses on some of the fundamental issues related to online course design.

Description

Dr. Colleen Belk from the Department of Biology will tell us about her work in transforming Biology and Society, a liberal education natural science course with a laboratory component, into an online course.
