Celebrating Women's History month with a concert highlighting the long history of women composers through the theme of nature. From the sky to the sea and the mountains to the forests. Tune in to enjoy the sights and sounds. Join a UMD faculty trio in an evening of musical enjoyment. Paula Gudmundson, flute, Diana Shapiro, piano, and Jim Pospisil, horn, have performed at numerous music festivals and events as performers on their own and as a trio. Featuring premieres of "Amazonia" by Valerie Coleman and "Paula's Song" by Berglind Tómasdóttir and works by Laura Netzel, Anne Boyd, Mélanie Bonis and Michael Djupstrom.
