Abstract
This paper presents two parts of a system which will be necessary for the
development of automated negotiation: the negotiation protocol and an active market
agent model. A set of criteria whicb must be met by automated market environments is
presented. The negotiation protocol and a description of the proposed market model is presented.
It is then shown how the combination of the protocol and the market model can be
used to meet tbe stated criteria.
