Description

VIREO / Day12 / Flight23. TEST: Closed-loop control law validation. RESULT: Good flight for control law validation. EVENTS: 1. Engaged TE-only controller in bravo mode, whererin the elevator is held frozen. 2. Performed step commands in ALT. 3. Performed a change in circle center. 4. Performed a box route. 5. The winds were medium and the TE-only controller performed reasonably well in tracking the total energy. It appeared that the TE-only controller was giving priority to altitude tracking. 6. Performed aborted autoland in bravo mode.
