Abstract

We often hear that small, rural communities are disappearing.  Ben Winchester, Senior Research Fellow for U of M Extension’s Center for Community Vitality, joins us to tell us what is actually happening.  According to his research they are, in reality, strong and attracting new people every year.  We talk about trends in migration and how to change the story of your community to draw in those people who are looking for a small town lifestyle.
