Description
As part of its 2006 Elections Project, the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance hosted a series of policy talks featuring candidates for statewide elective office. The purpose of the series was to provide an opportunity for each candidate to discuss their substantive concerns about critical challenges facing Minnesota and the nation, and to offer recommendations on appropriate policy responses.
Sue Jeffers' presentation was the fifth in a series of policy talks hosted by the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance featuring major-party candidates for statewide elective office. Sue Jeffers is the Republican Liberty Caucus-endorsed candidate for Governor.
Sue Jeffers has owned Stub and Herb’s Restaurant in Minneapolis’s Stadium Village neighborhood since 1979. She serves as president and board member of the Stadium Village Commercial Association, and is on the board of the Parent Teachers Association of Pike Lake Elementary School. Jeffers studied business and political science at the University of Minnesota.
