Abstract

Welcome to Public Health Moment from the University of Minnesota. March is National Nutrition Month, which provides health professionals another opportunity to encourage people to eat healthy foods and stay or become more physically active. University of Minnesota nutritionist Kim Robien has more. <Clip: “National Nutrition Month has been celebrated annually since 1973…and to reduce your risk of chronic disease.”> With our busy lifestyles and the easy access to fast food, it can be hard for parents to set good examples when it comes to nutrition. But Robien has some advice. <clips: “We do encourage families to make nutrition a priority. … talk about your life’s experiences over a good healthy meal.”>With another Public Health Moment, I’m John Finnegan.
