Abstract

Description

At the onset of this project, Hawthorne neighborhood was home to the highest number of vacant lots per neighborhood in Minneapolis. Additionally, there was a problem with boarded-up units in the neighborhood. The neighborhood decided to address the problem by building new homes in the neighborhood. This project involved a spatial assessment of the location of new homes and their impact on the neighborhood. The results will be used as an evaluation tool for future policy and funding decisions.
