This is a comprehensive study of a private corporation's efforts to solve the problems of decaying inner cities and make a profit at the same time. The 1990 study examines City Venture's profit orientation, its holistic approach, its composition and style, and its effectiveness in seven cities. A summary version appeared in the October 1990 CURA Reporter.
