Description
Description of performance and phenotype of all University of Minnesota apple selections extant at the Horticultural Research Center (Fruit Breeding Farm) compiled in 1955 by Ted Weir with comments from WH Alderman. Also contains 1) summaries of apple storage tests, 2) descriptions of promising cherry plums (MN 440, MN 447, MN456, and MN556), 3) a document entitled "Information Regarding the University of Minnesota Fruit Breeding Farm, Excelsior, Minnesota" that contains a history and description of the facility, number of seedlings and selections being tested in 1965 for all fruit crops, a list of cultivars released as of 1965, and brief descriptions of other research being conducted in 1965.
