Description

A flier documenting the events associated with Palestine Week, including a Hunger Strike on the steps of Northrop on May 14, 1973, a Palestinian Resistance public lecture by Department of Linguistics Chairman, Dr. Walter Lehn, on May 15, 1973, in the Women's Lounge of Coffman Memorial Union, the Speak-Out on Zionism event on May 16, 1973 in the Junior Ballroom of Coffman Memorial Union, an open forum on "Solutions of Mideast" and a Discussion Panel, both on May 17, 1973. The Discussion Panel includes Dr. Norton Mezvinsky, Professor of History at Central State College of Connecticut, Dr. Elias Shoufani, an Israeli-Arab author and Professor of History at the University of Maryland, and Fawzi al-Asmar, an Israeli Arab poet. The week concluded with a Palestine Dinner at Luther Hall, where a film showing of "Revolution Until Victory" was shown and lecture was given.
