Abstract
The project on which this report is based was completed in collaboration with the Office of the Senior Director of American Indian and Tribal Nations Relations at the University of Minnesota, as part of a 2021–2022 Resilient Communities Project (http://www.rcp.umn.edu). This report analyzes how much the University of Minnesota has benefited financially from the Morrill Act land grab. RCP Scholar and graduate student Madison Bozich, in collaboration with TRUTH Research Assistant An Garagiola-Bernier, researched the University endowment and long-term profits from compounded interest accrued from the University's sale of Morrill Act land. A final student report is available.
