This report summarizes the 9th Annual Freight and Logistics Symposium, held in Minneapolis on December 2, 2005; keynote presentation “Freight Mobility, Transportation System Capacity, and the Economic Challenges Ahead” by John Ficker; a panel titled “How Logistics Costs Affect Corporate Decision Making” moderated by Ron Dvorak with panelists Cheryl Amborn, Paul Borgen, Tom Bland; a panel titled “Emerging Supply-Chain and Infrastructure Approaches to Capacity Challenges” moderated by Richard Murphy Jr. with panelists Karen Donohue, Mike Laden, Cecil Selness; closing by John Ficker.
