Abstract
This project was completed as part of the 2013-2014 Resilient Communities Project (rcp.umn.edu) partnership with the City of North St. Paul. To be recognized as a Step 3 city in the GreenStep cities program, the City of North St. Paul was looking to develop new policies around sustainability. Project lead Paul Ammerman partnered with a student in Jean Coleman’s LAW 7012: Land Use, Energy and Environment Clinic to develop policy recommendations. The student provided a definition of sustainability and drafted a sample resolution to adopt a sustainability definition. The final report and presentation are available.
