Abstract

This document is a proceedings of the three plenary sessions (the opening session and two luncheons) of the CTS Seventh Annual Transportation Research Conference held on May 14-15, 1996, at the Sheraton Park Place in Minneapolis. The opening session was moderated by Robert Johns and had a panel with Curt Johnson, Ken Greenberg, and Barbara Lukermann. The luncheon on May 14 was presented by Robert Cervero, "The Transit Metropolis: Myths vs. Realities." The luncheon on May 15 was presented by Mary R. Kihl, "Rural Passenger Transportation: Nostalgia or Innovation?"
