Abstract
In just a meager ten years, Bitcoin has gone from being a relatively obscure piece of code to an internationally recognized form of payment. Yet, opinions
about Bitcoin’s future are mixed. After considering the major factors affecting Bitcoin’s future use, the research paper offers some trend and attribute analysis which acts as modest predictions. Both systems are currently co-existing alongside each other. Both look like they are here to stay for the foreseeable future, although the rise of Bitcoin is causing banks to rethink certain areas like transaction fees and how they link between countries, among other things.
