Abstract
The St. Anthony Falls Hydraulic Laboratory has undertaken to collaborate
with the Argonne National Laboratory in its survey of the state of the art of heat dispersion from steam generating plants into large lakes. The phase of the work to be covered by the St. Anthony Falls Hydraulic Laboratory relates to the prospects and problems associated with physical or hydraulic modeling of thermal plumes and heat dispersion.
