Abstract
Jordan B. Peterson's book Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief (1999) offers a sweeping Jungian account of our Western cultural history -- comparable in its sweep to Walter J. Ong's sweeping account of our Western cultural history. I prefer Ong's account to Peterson's.
