Abstract
This project was completed as part of the 2016-2017 Resilient Communities Project (rcp.umn.edu) partnership with the City of Brooklyn Park. A priority of the Brooklyn Park Recreation and Parks Master Plan is to support health equity and active living strategies. The goal of this project was to develop a risk management plan for six park sites in Brooklyn Park. Brooklyn Park project lead Brad Tullberg worked with students in HPRE 3100: Risk Management, who assessed the sites and developed recommendations to decrease risk in future nature-based recreation areas. The students' final report and presentation are available.
Description
