    Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway: Awareness, impact on quality of life & economy

    In 2009, the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway undertook a study with a three-fold foci to identify: 1) consumer awareness of the byway, 2) the byway‟s impact on quality of life among residents, and 3) the economic impact of byway travelers to the regional economy. The project was supported by the Central Regional Sustainable Development Partnership, the Carlson Chair for Travel, Tourism and Hospitality at the University of Minnesota, and Explore Minnesota Tourism.
