    Augmentative and Alternative Communication in the Classroom

    The purpose of this literature review is to evaluate the social development of a child with a disability in an inclusive classroom, who is using a high-tech voice output augmentative communication device. Audience The information in this literature review will be useful for teachers, therapists who have children that are nonverbal, or kids with communication deficits and need a way to communicate with their peers in their classroom. It will also be beneficial for families to see the importance of these devices and what opportunities it could bring to their child.
