    Documenting and Interpreting Minnesota Folklore.

    During the Summer of 1995, the Principal Investigator and Research Assistant, funded by the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs and the Minnesota Historical Society, traveled through Minnesota, documenting local folk traditions and legends. The purpose was to produce field reports that, along with information from the Minnesota Folklore Archive at UMD, could be used for two related projects: outreach and the anthropology of local narrative.
