    Stormwater Quality Improvement Plan for the Urban Ecology Center Subwatershed

    This project was completed as part of the 2013-2014 Resilient Communities Project (rcp.umn.edu) partnership with the City of North St. Paul. Needing a solution to localized flooding concerns in the area, the City of North St. Paul wanted to determine cost-effective measures to reduce phosphorus loads and improve stormwater management. Project lead Morgan Dawley collaborated with students in CE 5511: Urban Hydrology, taught by Dr. John Gulliver to research possible solutions. Through their work, the students found that the most effective solution would be to increase street sweeping. The final report, presentation, and poster are available.
