At Itasca Park it has been found to constitute over 75 per cent of the brush population associated with several of the common upland forest cover types. The authors were interested in determining whether the feeding activities of deer and rabbits have any effect in controlling the population of this brush. This information was felt to be of value to those concerned with the administration of forest lands and of special significance for the multiple use management of parks and other recreational areas.Item A Provisional Assessment of Species Synecological Requirements in Minnesota Forests(St. Paul, Minn. : School of Forestry, University of Minnesota, 1959-10-15) Bakuzis, Egolfs V.; Hansen, Henry L.Item Provisional list of synecological coordinates and selected ecographs of forest and other plant species in Minnesota(University of Minnesota, 1978-12-01) Bakuzis, Egolfs V.; Kurmis, VilisItem Some Characteristics of Geographical and Synecological Distribution of Balsam Fir (Abies Balsamea (L.)
