Thor flight 64 was to verify the ground tracking performance by commanding three rectangular patterns. The commands consisted of 90 turns for a certain length of time. Since there was a significant amount of wind, the sides of the rectangles were not expected to be the same length; however, the sides were all expected to be perpendicular since the airplane was tracking ground track.
