Abstract

In my 7,450-word review essay, I highlight Austen Ivereigh's discussion of the Italo-Argentine Pope Francis' study of the Italo-German Roman Catholic theologian Romano Guardini's thought as the 1950s prophet of post-modernity. In addition, I highlight the American Jesuit cultural historian Walter J. Ong's post-modern thought.
